Quartetto delle Marche
Quartetto delle Marche was formed in 2009, inspired by the passion its members have always had for Strong Quartets, a formation considered to be the queen of chamber music. Its members have extensive concert experience in various formations, from duets to sextets; they have always pursued chamber music by also teaming up with orchestras, including the Orchestra of Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia, Orchestra del Petruzzelli, Bari, the Mantua Chamber Orchestra, I Solisti di Pavia, I Solisti Aquilani, the Marche Philharmonic Orchestra, Italian International Orchestra, Rossini Symphonic Orchestra, Pesaro, Verdi Orchestra, Milan, Bologna Chamber Orchestra, often as first musicians. Quartetto delle Marche embraces a vast repertoire with humility and dedication, often enriching its performances with new ideas, arising from constant and passionate musical research. The aim is to contribute towards the more extensive spread of quartet music, in the spirit of sharing and emotional involvement. The Quartet’s repertoire also includes pages by forgotten authors of the Marche region, who operated throughout Europe, including Venanzio Rauzzini, Luigi Tomasini and Lino Liviabella. Quartetto delle Marche performs in the concert seasons of the most important musical associations, always receiving public and critical acclaim.
